Author Guidelines

International Journal of Contemporary Research in Science and Computation (IJCRSC)
Society for Mathematical and Computational Research

The International Journal of Contemporary Research in Science and Computation (IJCRSC) invites high-quality original research contributions in applied, computational, and theoretical science. Authors must prepare and submit their manuscripts strictly in accordance with the following guidelines.

1. Manuscript Categories

  • Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Short Communications
  • Case Studies / Technical Notes

General Submission Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original and must not be under review elsewhere.
  • All authors must approve the final manuscript prior to submission.
  • Submissions must strictly follow the journal’s formatting and structural requirements.
  • Manuscripts should be prepared in MS Word (.doc/.docx) or LaTeX (.tex with PDF).
  • All results, models, data analyses, and interpretations must be clear, accurate, and reproducible.

2. Formatting Standards

  • Font and Spacing: Times New Roman, 12-point, justified text, 1.15 line spacing throughout (including tables, figures, captions, and appendices).
  • Page Layout: A4 size with margins of 1 inch on all sides.
  • Section Titles: Times New Roman, 12-point, bold, left-aligned.
  • Paragraphs: Consistent 0.5-inch indentation; avoid extra spacing before or after paragraphs.
  • Figures and Tables:
    • Number consecutively (Figure 1, Table 1, etc.).
    • Captions in Times New Roman, 11-point, italic (below figures and above tables).
    • All figures and tables must be cited in the text.
    • Use high-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI).
  • Equations: Number sequentially and align equation numbers to the right (e.g., Eq. (1)). Use MathType or the built-in equation editor.
  • Units and Symbols: Use SI units consistently throughout the manuscript.

3. Manuscript Structure

  1. Title Page: Title of the manuscript, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author details (email address and optional ORCID).
  2. Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing the background, objectives, methods, results, and key conclusions.
  3. Keywords: 4–6 relevant keywords separated by commas.
  4. Introduction: Background, research motivation, objectives, and significance of the study.
  5. Materials and Methods / Methodology: Description of data sources, scientific or mathematical models, algorithms, numerical methods, experimental design, and analytical tools.
  6. Results and Discussion: Presentation and interpretation of findings with comparison to existing literature.
  7. Conclusion: Summary of major outcomes, limitations, and future research directions.
  8. Acknowledgment (Optional): Recognition of funding agencies, institutions, or contributors not listed as authors.
  9. Conflict of Interest: Declare any financial or personal relationships. If none, state: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
  10. Author Contribution Statement (Optional): Use the CRediT taxonomy (e.g., Conceptualization, Methodology, Software, Writing – Original Draft, Supervision).
  11. Data Availability Statement: Indicate whether data are publicly available, available upon request, or restricted.
  12. References: All references must follow the APA 7th Edition citation style.

4. Submission Checklist

  • Manuscript prepared according to IJCRSC guidelines
  • Title page with complete author details
  • Abstract and keywords included
  • Figures, tables, and equations correctly numbered and cited
  • References formatted as per APA 7th Edition
  • Conflict of interest, funding, and data availability statements included
  • Final approval obtained from all authors

5. Plagiarism and Originality

  • All submissions are screened for plagiarism using reliable detection software.
  • Similarity must remain within acceptable academic limits.
  • Plagiarism, duplication, data manipulation, or unethical practices will result in immediate rejection.
