The International Journal of Contemporary Research in Science and Computation (IJCRSC)
maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism.
All submitted manuscripts are screened for originality using advanced
plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin and
iThenticate prior to the peer review process.
1. Acceptable Similarity Index
-
The total similarity index should not exceed
10–15%, excluding references, quotations,
equations, and commonly used phrases.
-
Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned to the authors
for revision or may be rejected, depending on the extent and nature
of the overlap.
2. Unacceptable Types of Plagiarism
-
Verbatim copying of text, data, figures, tables, or ideas
without proper attribution to the original source.
-
Self-plagiarism or redundant/duplicate publication,
including reuse of substantial parts of previously published work
without appropriate disclosure or citation.
-
Manipulation, falsification, or misrepresentation of images,
tables, or research data without proper credit or permission.
3. Actions on Plagiarism Detection
-
Before publication:
Manuscripts found to violate IJCRSC plagiarism standards will be
rejected immediately and will not proceed to peer review.
-
After publication:
If plagiarism is identified post-publication, the article may be
formally retracted, and the author’s institution and/or relevant
authorities may be notified.
4. Compliance and Author Responsibility
-
IJCRSC adheres to publication ethics guidelines issued by the
University Grants Commission (UGC) and the
Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
-
Authors must submit a
Plagiarism Declaration Certificate
at the time of manuscript submission.
-
Submission of a manuscript to IJCRSC implies that the authors
accept full responsibility for the originality, authenticity,
and ethical integrity of their work.
